Come to Semifinal at 16 th of January and hear spoken word poets from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Estonia and Finland! Poets of the night are Henry Bowers (Sweden), Marija Bliznac (Norway), Peter Dyreborg (Denmark), Sirel Heinloo & Toomas Leppik (Estonia), Juho Kuusi, Rosanna Fellman and Harri Hertell (Finland). Each of the poets will perform with their own languages and some in English aswell.

Poetry night will be free of charge but there will be cloackroom fee of 3,5 euros. Event is sponsored by Nordic Culture Fund. You are warmly welcome!

Henry Bowers (Sweden)
Henry Bowers is an award winning rapper, battle rapper and spoken word poet from Uppsala, Sweden. He has performed his music and poetry all over the world and has recently released the album "A Canister of Nitrogen".


Marija Bliznac (Norway)
Marija Bliznac aka blitzpoesi is a poet and theatre worker of Bosnian origin, living in Norway. She was the Norwegian Poetry Slam champion in 2023. Her poetry is often spiced up with quirky humor and unexpected references (Not her own words).

Bliznac divides her days between being a performing poet, a creative writing and poetry teacher, MC and someone who tries to sneak in spoken word arts everywhere. She is the newest board member of SLAM!Kollektivet, Norway`s only national platform for spoken word and Poetry slam.


Peter Dyreborg (Denmark)
Poet and spoken word performer. Danish poetry slam guru and former national slam champion. Published nine books. Several solo shows with performance poetry. Been with the Danish Royal Theater for 13 years. Often nice. Almost a decent human being. Peter Dyreborg (Tanska).


Rosanna Fellman (Finland)
Rosanna Fellman is a spoken word poet, author and activist from Finland. Fellman writes multilingual political poetry with humoristic tendencies.


Juho Kuusi
(Finland)
Juho Kuusi is a poet living at the border of Helsinki. He has performed his poetry for more than 15 years in cafes, festivals as well as in front TV cameras. Kuusi’s impassioned and confessional repertoire includes spoken word poetry, rap and printed poetry.


Harri Hertell (Finland)
Harri Hertell is a Helsinki-based Finnish poet, DJ, and poetry event producer. Hertell's poems have been translated into several languages, and he has performed in many European countries. His first poetry book in English All Emotions Allowed was published 2023.

Sirel Heinloo (Estonia)
Sirel Heinloo is a poet and the main organizer of poetry slam in Estonia (since 2017). She has published her poetry in different poetry magazines and created a 4-part poetry film „Sentimental Education“ (2021) with emerging and professional poets from Estonia and other countries.

Currently she is a PhD candidate at University of Tartu, writing about Estonian literature in Swedish.


Toomas Leppik (Estonia)
Toomas Leppik is a Slam MC, musician, father of two, and humorous sidekick of the brilliant poet Sirel Heinloo.
